How I Fell in Love with Photography (and Why I Now “Cook” My Film)
I began my journey with 35mm film, drawn to its patience, mystery, and the way it slows time. Over the years, I started creating one-of-a-kind “film soup” pieces—hand-treating analog film with botanicals, saltwater, and natural elements to transform everyday images into dreamlike, painterly works. My process is unpredictable, organic, and deeply personal, making each piece a truly unique fine art photograph.

My First Gallery Showing: The Largest Small Works Show in Sausalito
In June 2024, I had the honor of being part of the Largest Small Works Show in Sausalito at Gallery Sausalito. The exhibition featured over 50 pieces from artists across the country, each created on 12x12 canvas or metal. Most of the participants were painters, with only two photographers included—myself being one of them. Gallery owner Sue Avrilinvited me to submit three works and ultimately selected one of my film soup photographs of the Golden Gate Bridge. To see my work hanging alongside so many incredible artists in such a vibrant gallery space was both exciting and deeply meaningful. The show ran for a full month, and being part of it was a truly unforgettable milestone in my creative journey.

Mill Valley, Art Walk - June & July 2024
I was honored to have my work included in the Mill Valley Art Walk in both June and July 2024, an event hosted by the Mill Valley Arts Commission. During the art walk, local businesses open their spaces to showcase the work of Bay Area artists, and I was lucky enough to have my pieces displayed at the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce for two months in a row. It was such a gift to share my film soup photography with the Mill Valley community and to be part of this creative tradition.

Honored to Be Named One of the Top 100 Emerging Female Artists of 2024
I’m honored to be named one of the Top 100 Emerging Female Artists of 2024 by Arts to Hearts Project. This recognition celebrates women artists creating bold, original work, and I’m thrilled my film soup photography was included among such inspiring talent.

Hello Art Collectors!
This is my official hello to the art world—and to collectors who, like me, are drawn to bold color, texture, and the beauty of imperfection. My work is created on 35mm film using an experimental “film soup” process that gives each piece a vintage, abstract quality—part photograph, part painting, and always one-of-a-kind. If you love art that surprises you, feels nostalgic yet fresh, and brings a little magic into your space, you’re in the right place.
