Honored to Be Named One of the Top 100 Emerging Female Artists of 2024

I’m beyond excited to share some amazing news: I’ve been selected as one of the Top 100 Emerging Female Artists of 2024 by the Arts to Hearts Project!

For those who may not know, Arts to Hearts is a global media, publishing, and education platform dedicated to celebrating and supporting women in the arts. Their mission is to amplify female voices, spotlight diverse creative practices, and connect artists with collectors and art lovers around the world.

As a relative newbie to the gallery and fine art world, applying felt like a leap of faith. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 15 years, but in the last few years I’ve shifted into creating abstract, experimental film soup photography—a process that combines 35mm film with botanicals, saltwater, and other natural elements to create one-of-a-kind, painterly images. Submitting this deeply personal work alongside so many talented women felt both exciting and vulnerable.

To my delight, I was chosen and featured alongside 99 incredible female artists from around the world. The list includes painters, sculptors, photographers, and mixed-media creators who are all pushing boundaries and sharing their visions in unique ways. To have my work recognized on this platform is an absolute honor.

Being named one of the Top 100 isn’t just a milestone—it’s encouragement to keep going, keep experimenting, and keep sharing. The art world can feel intimidating when you’re just stepping into it, but opportunities like this remind me that there’s room for new voices, fresh perspectives, and the kind of work that doesn’t fit neatly into a box.
